It's also difficult to drive up the mountain with a all wheel-claimant and with tire chains equipped vehicle, because the conditions and in the special the condition of the road are very different and can also change very fast - the way up soft snow - the way down icy conditions.

Further it's very difficult to handle the shuttle service and the private cars on the way up and down in winter. It happens again and again, that private vehicles can't move up or down due to difficult conditions and so people park their vehicle somewhere along the street. Therefore it's not possible for the shuttle service to pass.
